Travel Information

The only significant extra is the flight, booked by yourself, out to Lyon, Grenoble or even Geneva.

We will organise your transfer, from which ever airport is involved if you choose to fly, this will normally be using shared economy car hire.

Generally even the cost of this, (based on 3
or 4 sharing) is completely covered, including excess insurance, within the basic price!  Only fuel and tolls to finance.

Of course if you fly out on Friday or back on Sunday,
rather than driving or using the train, you will need extra
night’s accommodation which I can organise at very reasonable cost.

A really worthwhile alternative is to take the snow train
service which terminates at Bourg St Maurice but with a stop at Aime for convenient transfer to Belle Plagne. The train leaves from London or Ashford on Friday evening, returning the following Saturday evening allowing a full 8 days in La Plagne without the need for extra overnight accommodation and with all luggage included in the cost. I will organise the 30-45 minute transfer to and from the resort, covered within the basic cost of the trip.

Should you choose to drive out from the UK, then there is a reduction per person of £50, instead of the transfer.
Driving overnight is ideal to avoid traffic and maximise
days in the resort.

Couples & Group Therapy

Breakfast, alternating between continental and full
British style, as well as 3 course dinners complete with wine & drinks are included throughout, along with everything you could need should you wish to make a picnic lunch as an alternative to eating on the mountain.

Single Supplement

This year, during the January and March departures,
limited single occupancy will be offered for booking right away at only £100 extra, rather than seeing if it is available later on.  This facility is not available on the half term week or Easter.

Equipment Hire

Belle Plagne has basic but good quality skis and boots – which can be upgraded for a reasonable supplement to snow board equipment or more advanced skiing gear. We always try to get a good deal in resort for any equipment required.
